An OpenAI workshop to bring AI closer to Madrid SMEs
OpenAI brought together business leaders and executives from Madrid to explore how to apply generative AI to their businesses. The Community of Madrid provided the Digitaliza Madrid Center, and we at brytspace handled the production of the event.

What OpenAI needed for its event
The program combined three learning modules, a business case study, presentations on AI applications for SMEs, and time for networking among attendees. The venue had to be set up to accommodate every stage of the event: from registration and breakfast to theater-style sessions, breaks, and the final lunch.
OpenAI handled the invitations. We coordinated the setup, audiovisuals, catering, access control, and security.

From corporate presentation to exclusive gathering
Working in an institutional venue required getting the setup and any changes approved by various departments. This coordination became especially critical on the day of the event: the venue’s protocol team had not yet authorized the use of the screens.

We spoke directly to the person in charge, explained the event's requirements, and found a solution that allowed us to move forward.
An operating system to activate the presentation
We coordinated production teams and suppliers before and during the event, while maintaining contact with venue representatives to address needs as they arose.

The day unfolded with a mix of practical sessions, real-world case studies, and networking opportunities. At the close of the event, Miguel López-Valverde, Minister for Digitalization for the Community of Madrid, spoke to highlight the value of bringing these tools to Madrid’s business community.

Sixty attendees participated in a workshop focused on concrete uses of generative AI. The team resolved the audiovisual issue, and the feedback on the event—including the catering—was very positive.
